Sir Cosmo Duff Gordon (1862-1931)
Baron and, with his wife Lady Lucy Duff Gordon
(1863-1935), survivors of the "Titanic" disaster. Lady Duff Gordon
was a successful couturier. They embarked on the "Titanic"
under the assumed name of "Mr &
Mrs Morgan", and were two of only twelve occupants of lifeboat No.1 (another one
of whom was Lady Duff Gordon's secretary, Miss Francatelli). The Duff Gordons
are buried together in plot 25.
