New Restoration Projects

The Society has undertaken a number of restoration projects over the years. We are always looking for new projects and the ways to fund them. As a purely voluntary group most of the funds are raised through donations given by our members, and money raised through our guided walks and sales of publications.

Our most recent project was to fund the emergency repairs to the roof of the Columbarium.

Currently we are looking at the following restoration projects:

• the Salviati memorial (illustrated here)

• the memorial to Joyce Pearce (founder of the Ockenden Venture)

• repairs to the roof of the Wood family mausoleum
